Last Saturday we attended the Rally for the Cure Tournament at Bear Lakes Country Club which saw 11 fabulous trip winners supporting a great cause!
Rally for the Cure is a grassroots program using golf, tennis and other social programs to raise more than $80 million for Komen-funded breast cancer research and local breast cancer community programs nationwide. As of 2017, management of the Rally program operates from Susan G. Komen®’s national headquarters, located in Dallas, TX.
Since 1996, more than 35,000 volunteer Ambassadors have helped Komen and their nationwide Affiliates fund life-saving community breast cancer programs and research to find cures for breast cancer. These passionate, dedicated Ambassadors have also helped educate more than 2 million people about their breast health and breast cancer. Rally is helping to advance Komen’s Bold Goal to reduce current breast cancer deaths by 50 percent in the U.S. by 2026.
